How AI is changing education, Artificial intelligence can automate basic activities in education, like grading. While AI may not ever be able to truly replace human grading, it’s getting pretty close. It’s now possible for teachers to automate grading for nearly all kinds of multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank testing and automated grading of student writing may not be far behind.

AI

Today, essay-grading software is still in its infancy and not quite up to par, yet it can (and will) improve over the coming years, allowing teachers to focus more on in-class activities and student interaction than grading.

Example is that ‘Professor Bot’ to you...

-Professor Bot messaged students about assignments and due dates in Professor Ashok Goel’s artificial intelligence class at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I'm interested in building AI TAS that enhance student engagement, retention, performance, and learning.

Message of encouragement to other developers

As Developers we must always remember that the best programmers are not marginally better than merely good ones. They are an order-of-magnitude better, measured by whatever standard: conceptual creativity, speed, ingenuity of design, or problem-solving ability.

Great developers know that 90% of games lose money; 10 percent make a lot of money. And there's a consistency around the competitive advantages you create, so if you can actually learn how to do the art, the design, and the programming, you would be consistently very profitable. Be a Great developers.
