#NCDevWomenSummit - Igniting Female Digital Enablement in Kimberley

The Northern Cape has been quite active in Information and Communication Technology(ICT) programmes, since 2015, 6 hackathons have been hosted in the province. Many tech events have been hosted but there is a global problem - low female participation in the ICT programmes.

Raeketsetsa is a Geekulcha female initiative to attract and empower more females into the world of ICT.

Through the local developer ecosystem, Raeketsetsa will be hosting a 1-day, female-only ICT summit in collaboration with the Northern Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism(DEDaT). NCDev Women Summit is championed by the Geekulcha Student Society(GKSS) at Sol Plaatje University.
