Maker Librarians at Decorex 2016

Decorex SA, South Africa’s premier décor, design and lifestyle exhibition showcases in three cities –Durban, Cape Town and Joburg. The décor and design industry’s leading and most trusted brand was founded in 1994, and continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the industry.

In Johannesburg, Decorex is taking place 05 - 09 August at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

Grow the Maker Movement, Ms Mia Van Zyl of the South African Makers Collective led the Makers Corner at the Decorex Johannesburg 2016.

The Geekulcha Maker Librarians also exhibited some of their IoT, Holo tech and 3D camera projects.

It was a day of Show & Tell, sell and share maker techniques with the public. There is great interest in the Maker Movement, we need to grow it as much as possible.
